The Crown returns to Netflix on Sunday, 17 November. I’m inexplicably excited about it because I was shocked when I found myself hooked on this monarchy-based drama. I thought it wouldn’t be my cup of tea at all, but it’s a great show! The monarchy is a total mess, much like modern-day Britain really.
Season three kicks off with a new guard sweeping into Downing Street as Queen Elizabeth and her royal family struggle to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Britain.
Season three hits upon cold-war paranoia, through to the jet-set and the space age. All the time, the royals struggle to adapt to a very new world.
