Roborock has officially launched its new flagship robot vacuum and mop, the Saros 20, in Ireland today. It sits at the top of the company’s current lineup, above the Saros Z70 that I reviewed earlier this year, and brings a bit of a spec bump alongside a price to match.
The Saros 20 is available now from Harvey Norman at an introductory price of €1,289 until 14 June, after which it rises to its standard retail price of €1,489. It is also listed on Amazon and the Roborock Official Store.
What the Saros 20 actually does
The headline hardware additions centre on three systems. The AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 allows the robot to climb over dual thresholds up to 8.8cm, adjust its body height for carpet cleaning on rugs up to 3cm thick, and free itself if it gets stuck. The StarSight 2.0 navigation system can identify and avoid over 300 obstacle types, and the unit’s slim 7.95cm profile means it can get under low furniture most robots cannot reach.
On the cleaning side, suction is rated at up to 36,000 Pa via a digital motor. The dual spinning mops apply up to 13N of downforce for harder stains, and a FlexiArm extension reaches into corners and along edges. Roborock claims up to 100% coverage in those areas, though we’ll put that to the test when our review unit arrives.
What the dock does
The bundled RockDock is a notable part of the package. It washes the mop heads using water heated to 100°C, which Roborock says removes 99.99% of bacteria, a claim verified by TÜV. Drying runs at 55°C to prevent odour. The dust bag is rated to last up to 65 days between changes, and the dock can handle automated water refilling and drainage if you set it up for it.
The mops detach automatically when the robot moves onto carpet, so there is no manual intervention required there either. I’ve really liked this feature on the Saros z70.
App and smart home
The Saros 20 runs Roborock’s SmartPlan 3.0 software, which builds cleaning routines based on room type and usage habits over time. It supports Matter, and works with Alexa, Google Home, and Siri. There are also granular carpet controls and privacy certifications, though Roborock has not detailed the specifics of those in the launch material.
Pricing and where to buy
The Saros 20 is available now at Harvey Norman and through the Roborock Official Store. The introductory price of €1,289 runs until 14 June 2026, after which the standard price of €1,489 applies.
We have a review unit on the way. If the Saros 20 is anything like the Saros Z70, which impressed us considerably, it should be worth the wait. We’ll have a full hands-on verdict up as soon as we’ve had sufficient time with it.
