Goos3D, Goosed and the Hilarious Untitled Goose Game

Ok, so obviously this caught our attention because of the animal in question. Once this, yet untitled, goose game grabbed our attention, it quickly gained our love.

Wait, Why Are We Called Goos3D (pronounced Goosed)?

It’s probably as good a time as any that I explain the whole Goos3D name thing. First of all, it’s pronounced Goosed… you know, as in the bird. Back when I started working in a Limerick phone shop, one of the guys always told people their phones were goosed rather than broken. This taught me that the world you use can completely change how people react to bad news. Goosed is a really powerful word, with a little bit of fun in it so we ran with it.

naming it goosed or goos3d was a great idea

Unfortunately for us the website goosed.com, our first domain, was taken. That’s why we went for goos3d.com and eventually goos3d.ie. It was about two years later I discovered that goosed.com was actually a porn site. Ah well, these things happen. The most important thing is that Goos3D is pronounced goosed and I guess, if we’re to have any animal that represents our brand, well it’s got to be the goose right?

The Untitled Goose Game by House House

Naturally, this trailer caught our attention. This beautiful looking game which is completely based on you ruining the day of a gardener through your goose character will be released in 2018.

The game just looks hilarious. I hope too much hasn’t been given away in this trailer as the mechanics of how a goose could destroy your life are given away.I’m sure there’s plenty more to come from these guys. Some online gamers are already calling the game “Metal Goose Solid” as much of the game is spent sneaking around, just like the well known “Metal Gear Solid”.

I just can’t wait to become to goose I’m destined to be. This game, still to be titled, will be released in 2018. You can sign up to the developer’s newsletter to make sure you’re first to know when this game launches.
